Renaissance Unity's Annual Backpack Program consisted of identifying a specific school or community in the Greater Cleveland area each year whose students were in need of school supplies when school started in the Fall. We then procured backpacks and the needed items to fill them as advised by our community partners. Congregants were provided with a list of supplies to obtain and encouraged to purchase in bulk -- a great time, energy and resource saver. A particular Sunday was set aside to fill the backpacks and then they were delivered to the Community location designated. Congregants made monetary donations as well. Past partnerships included:
