The first ever Interfaith Celebration on Saturday, October 10th, hosted by Renaissance Unity of Northeast Ohio and led by event founder Darren Burke, was a huge success, with many people attending! Voices from many faith traditions offered prayers for peace, compassion and our world. Viewpoints shared by a diverse representation of faith traditions at an interfaith keynote panel discussion provided opportunity for all to learn and grow in faith. Attendees then experienced an immersive sound bath meditation by sound artist Trish Benedict, enjoyed an interfaith potluck dinner, and interacted with with practitioners offering a variety of spiritual philosophies and healing modalities in a healing arts marketplace. Matthew Wilson and Rev. Richard Loren Held shared heartfelt uplifting vocals and music. Sacred Kirtan music and chanting, joyfully performed by Enchanted Hearts, was enjoyed by all. The day concluded with a rhythmic celebration of unity in a community drum circle.
