Heart Coherence Practice

Strengthening Your HeartMath Foundations

Join us for a 30-minute practice session to strengthen your use of the foundational techniques developed by the HeartMath Institute. These guided sessions help you build coherence, reset your nervous system, and cultivate greater emotional balance, clarity, and resilience to carry into your day.

Led by Certified HeartMath Coach & Trainer, Marilyn Barrett

HeartMath is a system of techniques that channel the power of Heart Coherence, the science-based practice of synchronizing your heart and brain. This alignment balances your nervous system and creates coherence between your heart, mind, and emotions — which is key to clearing stress and unlocking your higher capacities.

Join our sessions on Tuesdays at 8:00 AM and Fridays at 7:15 AM. Call (702) 835-5679, enter Pin 7041

Led by Judy Charlick

The group meets for one hour on the 3rd Saturday of each month to explore topics centered on words that end in "...ity", and therefore linked to UNITY. A new word will be introduced at each meeting by someone in the group, followed by thoughtful discussion, not only about the meaning of the selected word, but also uncovering profound concepts and how women apply them in their lives.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

For more information contact Judy Charlick at 216-408-4077. See scheduled dates in the Calendar.

"How to Pray Without Talking to God"

by Linda Martella-Whitsett

How to Pray Without Talking to God

Facilitator – Angela Barbati, LUT

Unity minister Linda Martella-Whitsett provides a framework for thinking about prayer that may revolutionize your spiritual life. Her good news is that you can even pray without a belief in God; you can develop rich, fulfilling spiritual practices without dogma.

She encourages readers to look within, not outside themselves for God, for the spark of Divine that is the core of our being as we:
•    Develop a spiritual practice of re-phrasing our prayers;
•    Cultivate a habit of daily prayer and meditation;
•    Learn how to pray for and with other people.

How To Pray Without Talking to God, endorsed by Dr. Larry Dossey, and Rev. Paul Hasselbeck; is filled with the author's stories of her own evolving understanding of God. Evolve your stories with us!

Each chapter includes a section called "Talk to Yourself" that poses questions for readers to write about or share in a study circle.

Sunday August 9; from 12:30 – 3:30 pm  following Service

There is no cost to attend, but a love offering is suggested as a way to support us hosting such events.
